The swivel head is the whole point
Most wide flame weeders are one fixed width. Ours isn't. Both the coverage width and the flame angle adjust, so the same machine does a 750mm sweep down a driveway and then a 50mm strip along a garden edge without you swapping anything out.
The burner itself is a tubular all-in-one burner-injector, laser-cut so the flame comes out as a straight blade rather than a spray of hot spots. That's what lets you walk at a steady pace and know you've covered everything behind you.

Common questions
Do I need a special gas bottle?
No. It runs off any standard LPG bottle — the same one you'd put on a barbecue. The hose and bottle adaptor come with it.
How wide a strip does it actually burn?
Anywhere from 750mm down to 50mm. You set it with the swivel head, and you can change it mid-job.
Do I need a licence?
Not the way you would for spraying — there's no chemical involved. Do check your local fire restrictions and permit periods before you burn, though. Common sense on a hot windy day. Acreage Guardian does that check for you: it tells you the safe days to burn, from your local fire danger rating. See the weekly plan for horse properties.
Will it kill the roots?
Flame weeding bursts the plant's cells rather than burning it to ash, so annuals go in one pass. Deep-rooted perennials will come back and need repeat passes as they re-shoot — that's true of every flame weeder, and our weed-by-weed guide tells you which is which before you buy.
