Maintenance claim excludes tyres, remote-control batteries, normal battery capacity fade, the gearbox oil change and damage or misuse. It describes what the machine needs, not what is covered if something goes wrong, and does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

The electric machine that fits through the door

The HandE-T is the trade machine. It's 800 mm wide as standard, and about 718 mm on the optional narrow tyres, which is what takes it through a standard doorway and into a passenger lift. Its articulated arm lifts 400 kg to 1.8 m.

Fully remote controlled, so you stand beside it and watch what you're doing rather than sitting on top of it. Nobody rides the machine, and nobody is sitting over the work breathing the dust.

It carries, lifts, tips and cleans out the places a diesel isn't welcome: poultry sheds, strip-outs, occupied buildings, food plants and tunnels. It works just as well down the side of the house or inside the stable.

Take the hydraulics out and everything gets better

Every other electric machine in this class is a battery driving a hydraulic pump. They electrified the engine and left the rest of it alone. So they still carry the pump, the tank, the cooler and the oil, along with every hose and fitting that can weep it onto your floor. That's most of the reason they're 900 mm wide and won't fit through your door.

We took it out. All of it. The implements run on electricity, straight off the hitch. Nothing to leak on a shed floor. No oil to change, no filters to buy, no hoses to chafe through in three years. Hydraulics also throw away a good share of what you feed them as heat, which is why machines that use them need close to twice the battery to do less work.

And it's why this one is as narrow as it is. Narrow wasn't a target we chased. It's what's left once you delete the pump.

From 1 December, the air inside gets a hard limit

From 1 December 2026, Australia's workplace exposure standards become legally enforceable workplace exposure limits. That includes a national limit on diesel particulate matter, and the carbon monoxide limit tightens from 30 ppm to 20 ppm.

The HandE-T has no engine and produces no exhaust, so it adds nothing to the contaminants those limits cover. That's the whole of the claim we make for it. What your own site has to do about those limits depends on your site, so that's a conversation for your regulator or an occupational hygienist.

Never run a machine before?

You stand beside this one and drive it with a remote. It starts with a switch. It can't stall, there's no clutch and no gears, and if you let go it stops. You plug it in at night like a phone and there's no servicing to remember or book in.

Maintenance and warranty are two different things

No planned maintenance for five years. That's what the machine needs. No engine means no engine oil, no oil filter, no fuel filter, no air filter, no coolant and no belts. No hydraulics means no hydraulic oil and no hydraulic filters. It runs on bearings rather than bushes. The one scheduled job is a gearbox oil change at high hours.

Two-year warranty. That's what's covered if something goes wrong. Different thing, and we'd rather say both numbers plainly than blur them into one.

The maintenance claim excludes tyres, remote-control batteries, the gradual capacity fade every battery gets as it ages, that gearbox oil change, and damage or misuse. Nothing here affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Working open ground? You want the HandE-A instead

How you actually get one

The HandE-T is in development and we're taking the first build slots now. The photos here are the development machine in the workshop. This is not a machine we hold on a shelf and post out. Every one is built to order in Queensland. You talk to us first, we confirm the specification and a firm quote, and then we confirm a build slot and a realistic delivery date before you commit to anything. Freight is quoted with the machine, because what it costs depends on where you are.

Ring Cathy on +61 493 281 690, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.

Naming note: this machine was called the HandE-C until 5 November 2026, and the name HandE-T used to belong to the wider machine that is now the HandE-A. If you are holding an older quote, go by the specification, or ring Cathy and she'll confirm it.

HandE is made by E-XD. Curly's Ag is E-XD's Australian dealer.
