Our latest PRO design is built for extreme heat, but like all high-power burners, it needs oxygen to breathe! If you find the flame "popping out," it’s usually not the wind—it’s recirculation.

1. Avoid "Smothering": If you hold the head too tight against the ground, it can suck back its own exhaust (carbon dioxide/steam). Keep it well off the ground and up wind to let it breathe.
2. Windy Day Adjustment: In heavy winds, simply turn your pilot flame up slightly. This keeps the ignition core stable and ensuring the 600,000 BTU stays roaring no matter the gust.
